Many people invest significantly in a house on the Costa Blanca, yet the outdoor area often remains underdeveloped. A well-designed garden becomes a true extension of the living space — especially valuable during the many mild summer evenings here. We create gardens that are beautiful, low-maintenance, water-efficient, and adapted to the Mediterranean climate.
Holiday guests on the Costa Blanca don't choose on price and location alone. They choose the complete picture: a beautiful property with a garden they actually want to be in — evenings outside, lighting, atmosphere, somewhere worth staying. Offer that, and you're no longer competing with the listing two scrolls down on Airbnb or Booking. A professionally designed garden, together with a well-maintained property, is what makes guests book — and pay more per night to do so.

Many architects create excellent villas, but the outdoor space is frequently reduced to sealed surfaces or simple gravel. We offer close collaboration from the early design stages, allowing building and landscape to be developed as one coherent, high-quality project. This enables you to offer your clients a complete package instead of leaving the outdoor areas to low-cost, uncoordinated solutions.
Buyers from Central Europe and Scandinavia increasingly value a well-designed, representative garden as part of a premium property. A professionally planned outdoor space increases the usable area, improves the overall appearance and supports higher sales prices. We deliver execution-ready plans on schedule and can also provide site supervision. This creates tangible added value for the end buyer — instead of relying on cheap aftermarket landscaping.

Every hotel invests in rooms. Few invest in the spaces where guests actually choose to spend their time. Yet outdoor environments have a direct impact on business performance. A thoughtfully designed landscape can justify higher room rates, strengthen a property’s positioning, increase guest satisfaction — and, most importantly, keep guests on-site longer. Every additional hour spent in the hotel creates opportunities for breakfast, lunch, cocktails, dinner and impulse purchases. Landscape architecture thus becomes a measurable driver of Food & Beverage revenue.
Guests behave differently in well-designed landscapes. They stay longer, feel more comfortable, and are more likely to consume on-site. What was once considered a cost centre becomes an active revenue driver through higher Average Daily Rate (ADR) and increased on-property spending.
This is not a visualisation. It is a realised project we planned and built.
In a modern corporate building with limited natural light and a largely unused interior courtyard, we created a Mediterranean landscape with large olive trees. Employees and visitors now experience nature inside the architecture.

The same principles apply in hospitality. Guests behave according to the quality of their surroundings. A well-designed landscape directly influences how long they stay and how much they consume. What worked in this realised corporate project transfers directly to hotels and resorts.

Edelgard Jost has been running her own landscape architecture practice since 1982. Previously based in Berlin with up to 25 employees, she now works together with her son Nicolás Leonard Jost, also a qualified landscape architect, directly on the Costa Blanca.
We combine decades of experience in large-scale and complex projects with deep knowledge of Mediterranean planting and local conditions on the Costa Blanca.
